Board-approved parking control

Condominium & HOA Parking Enforcement

Condo and HOA parking often involves common property, assigned spaces, owners, renters and seasonal guests. We help boards and managers translate adopted parking rules into a clear authorization and documentation process.

Designed forAssociation boards, authorized officers, community managers and designated security representatives.

Common parking pressure

Problems this program can address.

The property chooses which rules it is authorized to enforce. These are common planning topics—not automatic reasons to remove a vehicle.

01

Unauthorized use of assigned spaces

02

Guest parking during peak weekends

03

Boat-trailer or recreational-vehicle storage

04

Vehicles blocking private roads or common access

Your enforcement playbook

Six decisions made before the first call.

Lake-area consideration: Association authority can differ between common elements, limited common elements and privately owned spaces. That ownership question should be settled before enforcement begins.

01

Sign planning & installation

Review ownership boundaries, community entrances, assigned spaces, guest lots, private roads and amenities. Recommendations must align with the association’s adopted rules and actual authority over each area.

02

Who may authorize a tow

The association identifies the officers, manager or security contacts allowed to request service. Individual owners cannot authorize removal from common areas unless the governing arrangement grants that power.

03

How enforcement calls are handled

An authorized representative states the applicable community rule, exact location and any notice or approval step required by the association’s policy.

04

Documentation provided

The service record can capture the requestor, vehicle, space or common area, relevant signage, observed condition, photographs and timing.

05

What happens after removal

The vehicle owner uses Camden County Tow’s applicable release process. The association receives records for its enforcement file and directs disputes through its established management channel.

06

Warnings & grace periods

Boards can adopt notice periods, warning stickers, guest-registration corrections or repeat-violation steps for appropriate situations, subject to governing documents and applicable law.

Jurisdiction review

No one-size-fits-all legal shortcut.

Missouri law, including RSMo §304.158, and any applicable municipal rules must be considered for the exact property. Ownership, posted entrances, accessible spaces, fire routes and the reason for removal can affect the correct procedure.

Camden County Tow confirms the property setup, authorized contacts and service procedure before enforcement begins. This page is general service information, not legal advice or blanket authorization to remove a vehicle.

Condos & HOAs

Property-specific questions.

Does the board need to approve the program?

The association should act through the authority and approval process required by its governing documents. We identify the contracting and authorized parties during setup.

Can an owner tow from an assigned space?

That depends on ownership and association rules. We do not assume an individual owner controls a space without confirming authority.

Can guest registration be part of the plan?

Yes. The enforcement workflow can incorporate the association’s guest-registration or permit procedure.

Do you install signs?

Signs and installation may be available at no charge for qualifying participating properties after review.
